Patil with a mission to serve the society, industry & stakeholders through value added quality education from Nursery to Doctoral studies. PCET has expanded in a relatively short span of time to include 9 institutions offering 11 diverse academic programs at the school, diploma, bachelor, Masters and PhD level.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) is one of the best Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra. It offers under graduate courses in engineering in the branches of Civil, Computer, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology and Mechanical, with intake of 840 students. It also offers post graduate courses in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications (VLSI), Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) Mechanical (Design) and MCA. PCCOE also have Ph. D. Research center in Computer, E&TC and Mechanical Engineering.

About IEEE Pune Section:
IEEE Pune Section (R0 01 20) was established on June 26, 2010, with terrestrial boundaries confined to Pune Metropolitan City (Postal Code: 411001 to 411999). The Section falls under the jurisdiction of the Asia Pacific Region (R-10) of IEEE. Before that, it was a subsection of the IEEE Bombay Section from June 20, 2003, till its formation. At present, the Pune Section has more than 300 professional members and over 1100 other members, including student members. There are 19 IEEE Student Branches in different Engineering Colleges in and around Pune City.
The Section interfaces with the industries and academia through various technical and humanitarian activities. The section organizes various activities throughout the year, which are helpful to the professional members as well as to the student’s community for their skill set up-gradation. The Section and its student branches endeavour to contribute to the advancement of the knowledge of its community through activities that provide professional information exchanges and stimulate technological innovations. Meetings of the Section officers, interactions with the Student Branch Counsellors, and representatives are held regularly to discuss the ideas and plans for activities.
